Dodge and SRT brand's highly anticipated all-new 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat is about to make its way into Dodge dealerships across the United States. The 707-horsepower muscle cars are preparing to leave the Brampton, Ontario Assembly Plant where they were built, and are making their way across the country to Dodge customers everywhere.



Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO of Dodge and SRT brands, has credited the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with igniting a greater interest in the muscle car segment from the the general market, citing the receiving of over 4500 orders in the first five days orders opened for the new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.� Kuniskis said that the reaction to the new muscle car has been more positive than even Dodge and SRT's highest expectations for the model. With further affirmation that the time and hard work put into the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been appreciated by the consumers, Kuniskis vowed to make the Challenge Hellcat available for every customer who wants one.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been certified by the National Hot Rod Association as the fastest muscle car ever. With stock Pirelli P275/40ZR20 P Zero tires, the Hellcat has been certified to have a 1/4 mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds at 125 miles per hour. The 1/4 mile run dropped to only 10.8 seconds at 126 mph, while utilizing drag radicals.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is not only the fastest muscle car ever, but also the most powerful. Courtesy of the SRT's HEMI Hellcat, the Challenger delivers 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft of torque. The engine is the first factory-built supercharged HEMI, at a 6.2-liter V-8 engine.

Additionally included in the new 2015 Didge SRT Hellcat is the Chrysler Group's segment-exclusive TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission; a more fuel efficient transmission clocking in at a highway fuel-economy rating of 22 miles per gallon from the EPA. The Challenger SRT's Hellcat model with the optional, new-for-2015 six-speed manual transmission, reveals an EPA highway rating of 21 miles per gallon.
