What engine can I get with the Wrangler?
There are several engine options available for the Jeep Wrangler, and no matter which one you go with, you are guaranteed a ton of power! The standard option is a 3.6-liter V6 that pumps out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque which comes with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. If this isn't enough power for you, you can opt for a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder which gets you 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft torque which gets the eight-speed automatic. You can also opt for the spectacular 6.4-liter V8, which kicks out up to 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The other options are hybrid engines, with the first being a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 which gets you 260 horsepower and a spectacular 442 lb-ft of torque. Also available is a plug-in hybrid known as the 4xe, which is only available for the Rubicon and Sahara and gets you a solid 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. No matter which of these engines you go with, you will be able to do anything and go over everything!
Is the Wrangler a well equipped vehicle?
Making an SUV that is not only powerful but comes with a ton of features is a tall task, but the Wrangler manages to make it look easy! There are three fantastic trim levels to choose from, and each one is filled to the brim with available features. The Sport is the base trim which comes standard with foglights, tow hooks, skid plates, 17-inch steel wheels, and a 5-inch touchscreen. The next trim is the Sport S, which builds on the Sport with alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and air conditioning. We go from here to the four-door Sahara, which is more luxurious than the other trims. It adds a body-colored grille and fender flairs, 18-inch wheels, full-time four-wheel-drive, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For those who are into off-roading, you'll find a lot to like about the Rubicon as it has 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, heavy-duty front and rear axles, locking front and rear differentials, and rock rails. There is a special edition of the Rubicon called the Rubicon 392. It comes with high-performance electronic brakes, a 2-inch suspension lift, Fox shock absorbers, LED headlights, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a spectacular upgraded infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
What are some of the safety systems of the Wrangler?
Not only does the Wrangler come with some powerful engines and unique features, but several safety systems will keep you and your friends safe as you go on and off the road. Available is a Blind-Spot Monitoring System with Rear-Cross Path Detection, which will monitor the areas around and behind the Wrangler so you can make lane changes more manageable. Another available safety system is Adaptive Cruise Control that allows the Wrangler to maintain a pre-set distance between your Wrangler and the vehicle in front of you. Last but not least, we have the Forward Collison Mitigation system that will warn you of an impending collision and will even apply the brakes if you fail to stop.
